Travel baseball that puts your player first
The Tacoma Steelheads were founded in 2024 by families who wanted more for their young ballplayers — real coaching, real competition, and a club that feels like home. We carry the name of the fish that fights its way home through Puget Sound every season, and we ask our players to compete with that same heart.
As a 9U development travel team, we balance a competitive tournament schedule with patient, fundamentals-first instruction. Every practice is built so your player leaves a better hitter, fielder, and teammate than they arrived.

First Scrimmage
Early August · Date TBD. The Steel's inaugural scrimmage — first look at the roster in game action. Opponent, field, and start time announced soon.
Every kid on the team
We never want cost to keep a player off the field. The Steel Access Scholarship Program covers 25%, 50%, or 100% of fees based on household income — no paperwork, no documentation, fully confidential. Learn more or apply.
